atesio turns state-of-the-art optimization technology into industrial solutions for the telecommunications industry. Based on our exceptional experiences in modeling complex planning and configuration tasks combined with our profound knowledge of mathematics, computer science, and telecommunications, we provide sophisticated and powerful network optimization components.
atesio's founders have a long record of successful optimization projects for network operators. We develop software components and provide consulting services for fixed, access, and radio network planning. Substantial savings as well as substantial improvements of the network quality are realized with our solutions.
Being a spin-off of a research institute, atesio has a strong scientific background. The founders of atesio received several prizes such as the Vodafone innovations award, the GOR dissertation award, and the INFORMS Telecommunications Section dissertation award. These prizes clearly mark our dedication to turn state-of-the-art optimization technology into practice.
atesio was founded in 2000 as a spin-off of the optimization department of the Konrad-Zuse-Zentrum für Informationstechnik Berlin (ZIB), a renowned non-university research institute in Berlin, Germany. ZIB focuses on application-oriented algorithmic mathematics. It has a long-standing history of developing efficient algorithms for the numerical simulation and the optimization of real-world applications. Among the main application areas of ZIB are telecommunications, medical sciences, public transportation, and logistics.
